Caving, Meghalaya cave systems

The wettest place on Earth has carved some of the longest sandstone cave systems known anywhere, including multi-kilometre passages with underground rivers — most remain only partially surveyed, and exploratory trips here are genuinely closer to expedition caving than a guided tourist route.
